I’ve already started and run several businesses of my own. Every one of them taught me something, but one lesson kept coming back: people don’t pay for complicated. They pay for clarity, speed, and someone they can trust.
Looking into Costa Rica’s property market, I kept running into the same kind of story. Someone falls in love with a piece of land, sends a deposit, and only later finds out the seller didn’t own it. Or that there was a mortgage nobody mentioned. Or that the “beachfront lot” was really a concession they could never fully own.
The crazy part? Almost all of it was sitting in the public record the whole time. The National Registry has the answers. But the records are written in dense legal Spanish, hidden behind a login, and easy to misread if you don’t know what you’re looking at.

Why “Lindero”? It’s the Spanish word for a property boundary: the line where your land begins and ends. Knowing exactly where that line is, and what sits inside it, is what this is all about.
